What financial incentives does this program offer?
A discounted tuition rate of $1450 per course with no additional fees.
Is financial aid available for part-time students?
Yes. Students must be enrolled for a minimum of 1.5 units per semester to be considered for financial aid, which includes student loans. A Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be completed annually to be evaluated for aid. Students can contact the financial aid office with any aid-related questions.

How much will it cost to attend classes?
A flat rate of $1450 per course pending board approval.
Does the College offer payment plans to assist with my bill?

What are acceptable methods of payment?

Do I get a tax credit for my course?

What will occur if I pay my bill late?
You would be subject to late payment fines and/or possibly being dropped from your semester course(s), as well as a registration hold.
Application and Admissions
When are the admissions deadlines?
We work on a rolling admissions basis. However, we will not be able to accept newly submitted applications within two weeks of the start of the semester.
What supplemental documents are required as part of my admissions application?
In addition to the application, applicants are required to submit a college transcript from any of their prior institutions where credit was received and one reference form. An essay and resume are considered optional.
When will I find out if I have been accepted?
All students will receive an email notification of the admission decision approximately two weeks after submitting a completed application. Only fully complete applications will be sent to the admission committee for consideration.
Is there an application fee?
Use code GROWTCNJ to waive the $75 application fee.
If accepted, is there an enrollment deposit?
No enrollment deposit is required.
How will my transfer credits be evaluated?
The department chair will review your transcripts and inform you of transferable credits. TCNJ generally accepts courses taken at the 100 or 200 level if the final grade received is a “C” or higher. For students transferring from a two-year college, TCNJ can accept a maximum of 66 credits. A maximum of 96 credits can be accepted from a four-year college.

Yes. All students at TCNJ are assigned a faculty advisor.
How do I register for classes?
Log in to your PAWS accounts through TCNJ Today.
Where can I purchase my books?
You can purchase books at the TCNJ Barnes and Noble bookstore. Student stipends will be issued to help cover the cost of books.
How will I receive course credit for my work experience?
We will accept transfer credits from Thomas Edison State University for your work experience. Learn more at Earn Credit for What You Know at Thomas Edison State University.

Will there be an orientation?
Yes. Orientation will be held virtually on August 7th from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. A Zoom link will be emailed.
How do I find my classes?
All courses will be held online in Canvas, our learning management system. You can access your classes by logging into canvas.tcnj.edu using the credentials provided.
I am having trouble logging into Canvas/PAWS/other systems; where can I get help?
Visit helpdesk.tcnj.edu for support logging into campus resources.
I have never used Canvas, will there be an orientation?
The first course(s) should include a short overview video on navigating Canvas and getting help.
Are there any in-person meetings?
The majority of your courses will be held online. A few courses may host one or two in-person meetings during the semester, which will be communicated in advance.
How often do classes meet? Are there certain times I have to be online?
Courses are offered online through Canvas. Most courses run in 8-week cycles, and summer courses are 4 weeks long. Specific timelines will be communicated via email before the course begins.
