The School of Education at The College of New Jersey is hosting an accreditation visit by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) from September 20-22, 2015. This visit which is guided by accreditation standards set by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) is based on evidence that demonstrates that education candidates and school personnel know their subject matter, can teach effectively, and are able to connect theory to practice in P-12 schools.
Interested parties are invited to submit third-party comments to the visiting team. Please note that comments must address substantive matters (i.e., program quality, candidate preparation, etc.) related to the quality of professional education programs offered, and should specify the party’s relationship to the education preparation program at The College of New Jersey (i.e., graduate, present or former faculty member, employer of graduates). Anonymous testimony will not be considered.
